Exercising Whilst Pregnant

Staying fit and healthy during pregnancy is essential to all mum’s-to-be. Whilst we used to believe pregnancy was time to put our feet up and relax, we now know that an active lifestyle assists both the mother and baby’s wellbeing. 


Pregnancy is the most exciting time, but it can also be quite stressful – emotionally and physically. Exercise can assist in make sure you stay as physically fit as possible, produces all the right hormones to help you feel better in yourself, assists in making good food choices and aids better sleep. 


All pregnant women will see their bodies change considerably in a very quick time. Completing suitable exercise for your trimester helps your body cope with the changes. Recent studies have shown that benefits of mum’s-to-be staying fit during pregnancy have long-term benefits to their children.
