Post Natal Exercise

Your body has gone through the most amazing transformation to get your little-one here safely. Whilst you enjoy the first stages with your little one, you may also start thinking about yourself, and how you can either ‘get back into your jeans’ or just start to feel fitter once more.

Fitting in a routine around being a new mum is tough, but I offer a solution which makes it as easy as possible for you to complete. Each workout is varied, effective and an enjoyable experience that you’ll walk away from feeling like you’ve completed something positive just for you. You don’t need to buy any equipment, I bring everything you need with me.

Exercise can really help in relieving post-pregnancy stress, which is responsible for post-natal depression or the "baby blues" that many women experience.

However, your baby has arrived (natural or c-section), you are able to get back to fitness quite quickly – but you must take it at a suitable pace, and only complete activities suitable for new-mum’s and considering what happened during your labour, and if you’re breastfeeding. Your body needs to recover as well as learn its new role of mum.

I can also offer nutritional advice to assist in weight loss. This isn’t a mandatory part of what I offer – I know often as a new mum you eat what you can, when you can! But knowing easy options to help in your goals helps give you awareness and focus.

A postnatal exercise and nutritional programme can help you with:

  • Quicker and more successful weight loss

  • Reduced anxiety

  • Better posture

  • Increased muscular endurance

  • Increased stamina

  • More energy

  • Higher metabolic rate

  • Better body image

  • Increased self confidence
